Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers convenient ground floor rooms close to reception and dining, but could improve cleanliness and amenities for the price paid. Service is mixed, with some staff going above and beyond while others lack expertise. The location is ideal for exploring Norwich and the countryside, with pleasant gardens and proximity to key attractions. The dining presentation is impressive, although the menu could be more diverse. Overall, a stay with both positive and negative aspects.
I stumbled upon a fantastic find at this hotel for £100, including breakfast, which was around A$160 per night. The rooms in the outside annex didn't have enough soundproofing and felt a bit tired, but the overall value was undeniable.
The hotel had a bit of a slow start with the room being cold initially until it warmed up, same with the bed, but overall it was comfortable and perfect for our group of four. The breakfast room offered freshly cooked meals and the highlight was turning into a dance floor with a great DJ. The bar lacked comfortable seating but on the plus side, the location was convenient for a relaxing stay and the service was outstanding.
